A Building Close to the Heart of Every Edinburgh Local

On my way to meet a client yesterday to discuss a new bar refurbishment, I took a moment to stop by the old Jenners building — a true icon of our city.

As someone born and raised in Edinburgh, Jenners holds a lot of memories for me. The legendary Boxing Day sales were a rite of passage (survival of the fittest!), and I still wince thinking about how much I spent on designer clothes I probably couldn’t afford back then.

Hearing about the vision for its transformation is exciting. Let’s hope the developers deliver something truly special — because the old girl absolutely deserves it.
